Closing the Gap
In 2008 Indigenous artist Tommy Crow and his mate Paddy from Alice Springs in Central Australia started a business called Sunset Dreaming Australia. Together they decided to create this business with the key mission of selling Indigenous art product and using it to give back to the people of Central Australia.
Their dream is to help close the life expectancy gap which exists between black and white Aussies. Currently, the life expectancy of indigenous Australians is seventeen years less than that of white Australia.
Ten percent from the sale of all Sunset Dreaming products goes towards creating education and training, employment and healthy living opportunities with indigenous Aussies in Central Australia.
The artworks we sell reflect the beautiful colours and powerful spirit of Central Australia. They are stunning, vibrant and alive. We hope you feel inspired by what you see, moved by what you hear and encouraged to contribute in whatever way you can.
Join us and together we can help to close the gap!
